முப்பது தலைவரில் மூன்றுபேர் அதுல்லாம் என்னும் கன்மலைக் கெபியிலிருக்கிற தாவீதினிடத்தில் போயிருந்தார்கள்; பெலிஸ்தரின் பாளயம் ரெப்பா பள்ளத்தாக்கில் இறங்குகிறபோது,

ஒருமுறை, தாவீது அதுல்லாம் குகையில் இருந்தான். அப்போது பெலிஸ்தியர் படை ரெப்பாயீம் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் முகாமிட்டது. முப்பது வீரர்களில் மூன்று பேர் தரையில் ஊர்ந்துப்போய் குகையில் இருந்த தாவீதை அடைந்தார்கள்.
