தாவீது அதிகாலையில் எழுந்து, ஆடுகளைக் காவலாளி வசமாய் விட்டு, ஈசாய் தனக்குக் கற்பித்தபடியே எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், இரதங்கள் இருக்கிற இடத்திலே வந்தான்; சேனைகள் அணிவகுத்து நின்று, யுத்தத்திற்கென்று ஆர்ப்பரித்தார்கள்.

அதிகாலையில் தாவீது வேறு ஒரு மேய்ப்பவனிடம் ஆடுகளை ஒப்படைத்தான். தாவீது உணவை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு ஈசாய் சொன்னபடி புறப்பட்டான். தாவீது தனது வண்டியை முகாமுக்குச் செலுத்தினான். தாவீது வந்து சேர்ந்தபோது வீரர்கள் தங்கள் போர்புரியும் நிலைக்குச் சென்று கொண்டிருந்தனர். வீரர்கள் தங்கள் போர் முழக்கங்களை எழுப்ப துவங்கினார்கள்.
