1 சாமுவேல் 19:20
அப்பொழுது சவுல்: தாவீதைக் கொண்டுவரச் சேவகரை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் கூட்டத்தையும், சாமுவேல் அவர்களின் தலைவனாக நிற்கிறதையும் கண்டார்கள்; அப்பொழுது சவுலினுடைய சேவகΰின்மேல͠தேவனுடைய ஆவி இறங்கினதினால் அவர்களும் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது சவுல்: தாவீதைக் கொண்டுவர காவலரை அனுப்பினான்; அவர்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் கூட்டத்தையும், சாமுவேல் அவர்களின் தலைவனாக நிற்கிறதையும் கண்டார்கள்; அப்பொழுது சவுலினுடைய காவலர்களின்மேல் தேவனுடைய ஆவி இறங்கியதால் அவர்களும் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னார்கள்.

தாவீதை கைது செய்து அழைத்து வர சேவகர்களை அனுப்பினான். அவர்கள் வந்து தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்கிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் குழு மத்தியில் சாமுவேல் குழுத்தலைவனாக நிற்பதைக் கண்டனர். அப்போது சேவகர் மேல் தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் இறங்க அவர்களும் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னார்கள்.

உடனே சவுல், தாவீதை பிடித்து வர ஆள்களை அனுப்பினார். அவர்கள் சென்ற போது இறைவாக்கினர் இறைவாக்குரைப்பதையும், சாமுவேல் அவர்களுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கி நிற்பதையும் கண்டனர். அத்துடன் சவுலின் ஆள்கள் மேலும் கடவுளின் ஆவி இறங்கி வரவே அவர்களும் இறைவாக்குரைத்தனர்.
