ஏலி மிகுந்த கிழவனாயிருந்தான்; அவன் தன் குமாரர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கெல்லாம் செய்கிற எல்லாவற்றையும், அவர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் வாசலில் கூட்டங்கூடுகிற ஸ்திரீகளோடே சயனிக்கிறதையும் கேள்விப்பட்டு,
