பின்பு காத் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசி தாவீதைப் பார்த்து: நீர் அரணில் இராமல் யூதாதேசத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுவாரும் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது தாவீது புறப்பட்டு ஆரேத் என்னும் காட்டிலே போனான்.

ஆனால் காத் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசி தாவீதிடம், “கோட்டையில் தங்க வேண்டாம். யூதா நாட்டிற்குப் போ” என்று சொன்னான். எனவே அவன் விலகி ஏரேத் எனும் காட்டிற்குச் சென்றான்.
