அப்பொழுது சவுல் தாவீதை நோக்கி: என் குமாரனாகிய தாவீதே, நீ ஆசிர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன்; நீ பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்வாய், மேன்மேலும் பலப்படுவாய் என்றான்; அப்படியே தாவீது தன் வழியே போனான்; சவுலும் தன் ஸ்தானத்திற்குத் திரும்பினான்.

அப்பொழுது சவுல் தாவீதை நோக்கி: என்னுடைய மகனான தாவீதே, நீ ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன்; நீ பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்வாய், மேன்மேலும் பெலப்படுவாய் என்றான்; அப்படியே தாவீது தன் வழியில் போனான்; சவுலும் தன்னுடைய இடத்திற்கு திரும்பினான்.
