அவர்கள் பட்டணத்தின் கடைசி மட்டும் இறங்கி வந்த போது, சாமுவேல் சவுலைப் பார்த்து: வேலைக்காரனை நமக்கு முன்னே நடந்துபோகச் சொல் என்றான்; அப்படியே அவன் நடந்து போனான்; இப்பொழுது நான் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையை உனக்குத் தெரிவிக்கும்படிக்கு, நீ சற்றே தரித்துநில் என்றான்.

அவர்கள் பட்டணத்தின் கடைசிவரை இறங்கிவந்தபோது, சாமுவேல் சவுலைப் பார்த்து: வேலைக்காரனை நமக்கு முன்னே நடந்துபோகச் சொல் என்றான்; அப்படியே அவன் நடந்துபோனான்; இப்பொழுது நான் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையை உனக்குத் தெரிவிக்கும்படி, நீ சற்று இங்கே நில் என்றான்.

சவுலும் வேலைக்காரனும் சாமுவேலோடு ஊரின் எல்லைக்கு சென்றனர். சாமுவேல் சவுலிடம் “உனது வேலைக்காரனை நமக்கு முன்னே போகச் சொல். நான் உனக்காக தேவனிடமிருந்து ஒரு செய்தியை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்” என்றான். வேலைக்காரனும் முன் நடந்தான்.
