இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யோவாஸ் அகசியாவின் குமாரனாகிய யோவாசுக்குப் பிறந்த அமத்சியா என்னும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவைப் பெத்மேசிலே பிடித்து, அவனை எருசலேமுக்குக்கொண்டுவந்து, எருசலேமின் அலங்கத்திலே எப்பிராயீம் வாசல்தொடங்கி மூலைவாசல்மட்டும் நானூறுமுழ நீளம் இடித்துப்போட்டு,

யோவாஸ் அமத்சியாவைப் பிடித்து எருசலேமிற்குக் கொண்டு போனான். அமத்சியாவின் தந்தையின் பெயர் எகோவஸ். இஸ்ரவேல் அரசன் எருசலேமின் அலங்கத்திலே எப்பிராயீம் வாசல் முதல் மூலை வாசல்வரை 400 முழ நீளம் இடித்துப்போட்டான்.
