தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் ஒருவன் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து: ராஜாவே, இஸ்ரவேலின் சேனை உம்முடனே வரலாகாது; கர்த்தர் எப்பிராயீமின் சகல புத்திரராகிய இஸ்ரவேலோடும் இருக்கவில்லை.

ஆனால் ஒரு தேவமனிதன் (தீர்க்கதரிசி) ஒருவன் அமத்சியாவிடம் வந்தான். அவன், “அரசனே இஸ்ரவேல் வீரர்களை உன்னோடு அழைத்துக் கொண்டு போகாதே. கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலர்களோடு இல்லை. எப்பிராயீம் ஜனங்களோடும் கர்த்தர் இல்லை.
