ஆகாஸ் பென்இன்னோம் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் நறுமணப் பொருட்களை எரித்தான். தன் சொந்த மகன்களை நெருப்பில் எரித்துப் பலிக்கொடுத்தான். அந்நாடுகளில் வாழ்ந்தோர் செய்த பயங்கரமான பாவங்களையே அவனும் செய்தான். இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் அந்நாட்டுக்குள் நுழைந்தபோது ஏற்கெனவே அங்கிருந்த பாவமிக்க ஜனங்களை கர்த்தர் வெளியே துரத்தியிருந்தார்.
