2 நாளாகமம் 29:17
முதல் மாதம் முதல் தேதியிலே அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணத்துவக்கி, எட்டாந்தேதியிலே கர்த்தருடைய மண்டபத்திலே பிரவேசித்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தை எட்டுநாளில் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணி, முதலாம் மாதம் பதினாறாம் தேதியில் அதை முடித்தார்கள்.

முதல் மாதம் முதல் தேதியிலே அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தம் செய்யத்தொடங்கி, எட்டாம் தேதியிலே கர்த்தருடைய மண்டபத்திலே பிரவேசித்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தை எட்டுநாளில் பரிசுத்தம்செய்து, முதலாம் மாதம் பதினாறாம் தேதியில் அதை முடித்தார்கள்.

முதல் மாதத்தின் முதல் நாளில், லேவியர்கள் பரிசுத்தச் சேவைசெய்ய தம்மை தயார் செய்துக்கொண்டனர். அந்த மாதத்தின் எட்டாவது நாள் லேவியர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலய முற்றத்திற்கு வந்தார்கள். பரிசுத்தக் காரியங்களுக்குப் பயன்படுத்தத் தயார் செய்வதற்காக அவர்கள் மேலும் 8 நாட்கள் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைச் சுத்தம் செய்தார்கள். முதல் மாதத்தில் 16வது நாள் அதைச் செய்து முடித்தார்கள்.
