அதின்பின்பு எசேக்கியா: இப்போதும் நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கென்று உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தம்பண்ணினீர்கள்; ஆகையால் கிட்டவந்து, கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குத் தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளையும் கொண்டுவாருங்கள் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது சபையார் தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளையும், இஷ்டமுள்ளவர்களெல்லாம் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

எசேக்கியா, “இப்போது யூதா ஜனங்களாகிய நீங்கள் உங்களையே கர்த்தருக்காகக் கொடுத்துவிட்டீர்கள். அவரண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள். கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்குத் தகனபலிகளையும், ஸ்தோத்திரப் பலிகளையும், கொண்டுவாருங்கள்” என்று சொன்னான். பிறகு ஜனங்களும் அவ்வாறே தகனபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரப் பலிகளையும் கொண்டுவந்தனர். விடுப்பட்டவர்கள் எல்லாம் கொண்டுவந்தனர்.
