அந்தத் தூண்களை அவன் தேவாலயத்திற்கு முன்பாக ஒன்றை வலதுபுறத்திலும் ஒன்றை இடதுபுறத்திலும் நாட்டி, வலதுபுறமானதற்கு யாகீன் என்றும், இடதுபுறமானதற்குப் போவாஸ் என்றும் பேரிட்டான்.

அந்தத் தூண்களை அவன் தேவாலயத்திற்கு முன்பாக ஒன்றை வலதுபுறத்திலும் மற்றொன்றை இடது புறத்திலும் நாட்டி, வலதுபுறத் தூணுக்கு யாகீன் என்றும், இடதுபுறத் தூணுக்கு போவாஸ் என்றும் பெயரிட்டான்.

பிறகு சாலொமோன் அத்தூண்களை ஆலயத்திற்கு முன்னர் தூக்கி நிறுத்தினான். ஒரு தூண் வலது பக்கத்திலும் இன்னொரு தூண் இடது பக்கத்திலும் நிறுத்தினான். வலது பக்கமுள்ள தூணுக்கு சாலொமோன் “யாகீன்” என்றும் இடது பக்கமுள்ள தூணுக்கு “போவாஸ்” என்றும் பெயரிட்டான்.

அந்தத் தூண்களைக் கோவில் முன்பாக வலப்பக்கத்திலும் இடப்பக்கதிலுமாக நாட்டினார். வலப்பக்கத் தூணுக்கு ‘யாக்கீன்’* என்றும், இடப்பக்கத் தூணுக்குப் ‘போவாசு’** என்றும் பெயரிட்டார்.
