அவரை நோக்கி, அவன் விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறபோது, அவர் அவன் கெஞ்சுதலுக்கு இரங்கி, அவன் ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டு, அவனைத் திரும்ப எருசலேமிலுள்ள தன்னுடைய ராஜ்யத்திற்கு வரப்பண்ணினார்; கர்த்தரே தேவன் என்று அப்பொழுது மனாசே அறிந்தான்.

அவரை நோக்கி, அவன் விண்ணப்பம் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிறபோது, அவர் அவன் கெஞ்சுதலுக்கு இரங்கி, அவனுடைய ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டு, அவனைத் திரும்ப எருசலேமிலுள்ள தன்னுடைய தேசத்திற்கு வரச்செய்தார்; கர்த்தரே தேவன் என்று அப்பொழுது மனாசே அறிந்தான்.

மனாசே கர்த்தரிடம் கெஞ்சி தன்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்படி ஜெபித்தான். கர்த்தர் அவனது வேண்டுகோளை கேட்டார். அவனுக்காக வருத்தப்பட்டார். பிறகு கர்த்தர் அவனை எருசலேமிற்குத் திரும்பி தனது சிங்காசனத்தில் அமரும்படிச்செய்தார். பின்னர் கர்த்தர்தான் உண்மையான தேவன் என்பதை மனாசே தெரிந்துகொண்டான்.
