சாலொமோன்: கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டி வந்த ஸ்தலங்கள் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆதலால், இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய தாவீதின் அரமனையிலே என் மனைவி வாசம்பண்ணலாகாது என்று சொல்லி, பார்வோனின் குமாரத்தியைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து தான் அவளுக்குக் கட்டின மாளிகைக்குக் குடிவரப்பண்ணினான்.

சாலொமோன்: கர்த்தருடைய பெட்டி வந்த இடங்கள் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கிறது; ஆதலால், இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய தாவீதின் அரண்மனையிலே என் மனைவி குடியிருக்கக்கூடாது என்று சொல்லி, பார்வோனின் மகளைத் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து, தான் அவளுக்குக் கட்டின மாளிகைக்குக் குடிவரச்செய்தான்.

சாலொமோன் பார்வோனின் மகளை தாவீதின் நகரத்திலிருந்து அழைத்துவந்து, அவளுக்காகக் கட்டியிருந்த மாளிகையில் குடிவைத்தான். சாலொமோன், “என் மனைவி தாவீதின் வீட்டிலே இருக்கக் கூடாது. ஏனென்றால் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டி இருந்ததால் அவ்விடங்கள் பரிசுத்தமானவை” என்றான்.
