அவன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதுடைய பிரமாணத்தின்படியே, ஆசாரியர்கள் தங்கள் தங்கள் ஊழியத்தைச் செய்யும் வகுப்புகளையும், லேவியர் ஒவ்வொரு நாளின் கட்டளைப்படியே துதித்து சேவித்து ஆசாரியருக்கு முன்பாகத் தங்கள் ஊழியத்தைச் செய்யும் முறைகளையும், வாசல் காப்பவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு வாசலில் காவல்காக்கும் வகுப்புகளையும் நிற்கப்பண்ணினான்; தேவனுடைய மனுஷனாகிய தாவீது இப்படிக் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தான்.

சாலொமோன் தனது தந்தை தாவீதின் அறிவுரைகளைப் பின்பற்றினான். மேலும் சாலொமோன் ஆசாரியர்கள் குழுவினரை அவர்களது சேவைகளுக்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தான். தம் பணிகளைச் செய்யுமாறு லேவியர்களையும் நியமித்தான். ஆலயப் பணிகளில் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் லேவியர்கள் துதிப்பாடல் இசைப்பதில் முதன்மையாக இருந்தும் ஆசாரியர்ளுக்கு உதவியும் வந்தார்கள். அவன் வாசல் காவல் குழுவில் இருந்து பலரை வாயிலைக் காப்பதற்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தான். இவ்வாறுதான் தேவமனிதனான தாவீது அறிவுறுத்தியிருந்தான்.
