ஆலயத்தின் அருகே கட்டியிருந்த ஓய்வுநாளில் மண்டபத்தையும், ராஜா பிரவேசிக்கும் மண்டபத்தையும், அசீரியருடைய ராஜாவினிமித்தம் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து அப்புறப்படுத்தினான்.

ஆலயத்தின் உள்ளே கட்டப்பட்டிருந்த ஓய்வுநாள் (மண்டபத்தை) ஆகாஸ் நீக்கினான். மேலும் அரசன் பிரவேசிக்கும் மண்டபத்தையும் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து நீக்கினான். இவை அனைத்தையும் ஆலயத்திலிருந்து நீக்கி அரசன் அவற்றை அசீரியரின் அரசனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்.
