உன் நாட்களோடே பதினைந்து வருஷங்களைக் கூட்டுவேன்; உன்னையும் இந்த நகரத்தையும் அசீரியா ராஜாவின் கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து, என் நிமித்தமும் என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின் நிமித்தமும் இந்த நகரத்துக்கு ஆதரவாய் இருப்பேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

உன் நாட்களோடே பதினைந்து வருடங்களைக் கூட்டுவேன்; உன்னையும் இந்த நகரத்தையும் அசீரியா ராஜாவின் கைக்குத் தப்புவித்து, என்னிமித்தமும் என் தாசனாகிய தாவீதின்நிமித்தமும் இந்த நகரத்திற்கு ஆதரவாக இருப்பேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

நான் உனது வாழ்நாளில் 15 ஆண்டுகளை அதிகரித்திருக்கிறேன். நான் உன்னையும் இந்த நகரத்தையும் அசீரிய அரசனின் வல்லமையிலிருந்து காப்பாற்றியிருக்கிறேன். நான் இந்த நகரத்தைப் பாதுகாப்பேன். நான் இவற்றை எனக்காகவே செய்வேன். ஏனென்றால் எனது தொண்டன் தாவீதுக்கு வாக்குறுதியளித்திருக்கிறேன்.’ என்று சொல்” என்று கூறினார்.
