பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சார், யூதேயாதேசத்தில் மீதியாக வைத்த ஜனத்தின்மேல், சாப்பானின் குமாரனாகிய அகீக்காமின் மகன் கெதலியாவை அதிகாரியாக வைத்தான்.
