பாபிலோன் ராஜா கெதலியாவை அதிகாரியாக வைத்ததை, சகல இராணுவச் சேர்வைக்காரரும் அவர்களுடைய மனுஷரும் கேட்டபோது, அவர்கள் மிஸ்பாவில் இருக்கிற கெதலியாவினிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் யாரெனில், நெத்தனியாவின் குமாரன் இஸ்மவேலும், கரேயாவின் குமாரன் யோகனானும், நெத்தோப்பாத்தியனாகிய தன்கூமேத்தின் குமாரன் செராயாவும், மாகாத்தியனான ஒருவனுடைய குமாரன் யசனியாவும் அவர்கள் மனுஷருமே.

பாபிலோன் ராஜா கெதலியாவை அதிகாரியாக வைத்ததை, சகல படைத்தலைவர்களும் அவர்களுடைய வீரர்களும் கேட்டபோது, அவர்கள் மிஸ்பாவில் இருக்கிற கெதலியாவிடம் வந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் யாரெனில், நெத்தனியாவின் மகன் இஸ்மவேலும், கரேயாவின் மகன் யோகனானும், நெத்தோப்பாத்தியனாகிய தன்கூமேத்தின் மகன் செராயாவும், மாகாத்தியனான ஒருவனுடைய மகன் யசனியாவும் அவர்களுடைய மனிதர்களுமே.

நெத்தானியாவின் மகனான இஸ்மவேலும், கரேயாவின் மகனான யோகனானும் நெத்தோப் பாத்தியனாகிய தன்கூமேத்தின் மகன் செராயாவும் மாகாத்தியன் ஒருவனது மகன் யசனியாவும் படை அதிகாரிகளாவார்கள். இவர்களும் அவர்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களும் கெதலியாவை யூத ஆளுநராக ஆக்கியதுபற்றி கேள்விப்பட்டனர். எனவே, அவர்கள் மிஸ்பாவிற்குப் போய் கெதலியாவை சந்தித்தனர்.
