அப்பொழுது தாவீதின் தமையனாகிய சிமியாவின் குமாரன் யோனதாப் வந்து: ராஜகுமாரரான வாலிபரையெல்லாம் கொன்றுபோட்டார்கள் என்று என் ஆண்டவன் நினைக்கவேண்டாம்; அம்னோன்மாத்திரம் செத்துப்போனான்; அவன் தன் சகோதரியாகிய தாமாரைக் கற்பழித்த நாள்முதற்கொண்டு, அது அப்சலோமின் நெஞ்சில் இருந்தது.
