நீங்கள் அமாசாவையும் நோக்கி: நீ என் எலும்பும் என் மாம்சமும் அல்லவோ? நீ யோவாபுக்குப் பதிலாக எந்நாளும் எனக்கு முன்பாகப் படைத்தலைவனாயிராவிட்டால், தேவன் அதற்குச் சரியாகவும் அதற்கு அதிகமாகவும் எனக்குச் செய்யக்கடவர் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான்.

நீங்கள் அமாசாவையும் நோக்கி: நீ என்னுடைய எலும்பும் என்னுடைய சதையும் அல்லவோ? நீ யோவாபுக்குப் பதிலாக எந்த நாளும் எனக்கு முன்பாகப் படைத்தலைவனாக இல்லாவிட்டால், தேவன் அதற்குச் சரியாகவும் அதற்கு அதிகமாகவும் எனக்குச் செய்யட்டும் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான்.

அமாசாவிடம், ‘நீங்கள் எனது குடும்பத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியினர். யோவாபின் இடத்தில் உங்களைப் படை தலைவன் ஆக்காவிட்டால் தேவன் என்னைத் தண்டிக்கட்டும்’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்” என்றான்.
