அதுமுதல் தங்களுக்கு ஒரு ராஜாவேண்டுமென்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள்; அப்படியே தேவன் பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தானாகிய கீசுடைய குமாரனான சவுலை நாற்பது வருஷகாலமாய் அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்.
