அப்பொழுது பேதுரு பதினொருவரோடுங்கூட நின்று, அவர்களை நோக்கி: உரத்த சத்தமாய்: யூதர்களே, எருசலேமில் வாசம்பண்ணுகிற ஜனங்களே, நீங்களெல்லாரும் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்களாக, என் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்.

அப்பொழுது பேதுரு பதினொரு சீடர்களோடு நின்று, அவர்களை நோக்கி, உரத்த சத்தமாக: யூதர்களே, எருசலேமில் வசிக்கின்ற மக்களே, நீங்களெல்லோரும் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்களாக, என் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளுங்கள்.

அப்பொழுது பேதுரு மற்ற அப்போஸ்தலர் பதினொருவரோடும் எழுந்து நின்றான். எல்லா மக்களும் கேட்கும்படியாக உரக்கப் பேசினான். அவன், “எனது யூத சகோதரர்களே, எருசலேமில் வசிக்கும் மக்களே, நான் கூறுவதைக் கவனியுங்கள். நீங்கள் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டிய சில கருத்துக்களை உங்களுக்குக் கூறுவேன். கவனமாகக் கேளுங்கள்.
