எஸ்தர் 2:9
அந்தப் பெண் அவன் பார்வைக்கு நன்றாயிருந்ததினால், அவளுக்கு அவன் கண்களிலே தயைகிடைத்தது; ஆகையால் அவளுடைய சுத்திகரிப்புக்கு வேண்டியவைகளையும், அவளுக்குத் தேவையான மற்றவைகளையும் அவளுக்குக் கொடுக்கவும், ராஜ அரமனையிலிருக்கிற ஏழு தாதிமார்களை அவளுக்கு நியமிக்கவும் ஜாக்கிரதைப்பட்டு கன்னிமாடத்தில் சிறந்த ஒரு இடத்திலே அவளையும் அவள் தாதிமார்களையும் வைத்தான்.

அந்தப் பெண் அவனுடைய பார்வைக்கு நன்றாக இருந்ததால், அவளுக்கு அவனுடைய கண்களிலே தயவு கிடைத்தது; ஆகையால் அவளுடைய அலங்கரிப்புக்கு வேண்டியவைகளையும், அவளுக்குத் தேவையான மற்றவைகளையும் அவளுக்குக் கொடுக்கவும், ராஜ அரண்மனையில் இருக்கிற ஏழு பணிப்பெண்களை அவளுக்கு நியமித்து கன்னிமாடத்தில் சிறந்த ஒரு இடத்திலே அவளையும் அவளுடைய பணிப்பெண்களையும் வைத்தான்.

யேகாவுக்கு எஸ்தரைப் பிடித்தது. அவள் அவனது விருப்பத்திற்குரியவளானாள். எனவே யேகா விரைவாக எஸ்தருக்கு அலங்கார பொருட்களையும், சிறப்பான உணவையும் கொடுத்தான். அரண்மனையிலிருந்து யேகா ஏழு தாதிப் பெண்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து எஸ்தருக்குக் கொடுத்தான். அரசனது பெண்கள் வாழ்கிற சிறப்பான இடத்திற்கு எஸ்தரையும், அவளது ஏழு தாதிப் பெண்களையும் இருக்கச் செய்தான்.
