எஸ்தர் 7:8
ராஜா அரமனைத் தோட்டத்திலிருந்து திராட்சரசம் பரிமாறப்பட்ட இடத்துக்குத் திரும்பிவருகையில், எஸ்தர் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிற மெத்தையின்மேல் ஆமான் விழுந்துகிடந்தான்; அப்பொழுது ராஜா: நான் அரமனையிலிருக்கும்போதே என் கண்முன்னே இவன் ராஜாத்தியைப் பலவந்தம் செய்யவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறானோ என்றான்; இந்த வார்த்தை ராஜாவின் வாயிலிருந்து பிறந்தவுடனே ஆமானின் முகத்தை மூடிப்போட்டார்கள்.

அரசன் தோட்டத்திலிருந்து திரும்பி விருந்து அறைக்குள்ளே நுழையும்போது, அரசி எஸ்தர் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிற மெத்தையில் ஆமான் விழுந்து கிடந்தான். அரசன் மிகவும் கோபமான குரலில், “நான் இந்த வீட்டில் இருக்கும்போதே நீ அரசியைத் தாக்குகிறாயோ?” எனக் கேட்டான். அரசன் இவ்வாறு சொன்ன உடனேயே வேலைக்காரர்கள் வந்து ஆமானின் முகத்தை மூடினார்கள்.
