அப்பொழுது தெலீலாள், புதுக்கயிறுகளை வாங்கி, அவைகளால் அவனைக் கட்டி, சிம்சோனே, பெலிஸ்தர் உன்மேல் வந்துவிட்டார்கள் என்றாள்; பதிவிருக்கிறவர்கள் அறைவீட்டில் இருந்தார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவன் தன் புயங்களில் இருந்த கயிறுகளை ஒரு நூலைப்போல அறுத்துப்போட்டான்.

எனவே தெலீளாள் சில புதுக்கயிறுகளை எடுத்து சிம்சோனைக் கட்டினாள். சில ஆட்கள் அடுத்த அறையில் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தனர். தெலீலாள் அவனை அழைத்து, “சிம்சோன், பெலிஸ்திய ஆட்கள் உங்களைப் பிடிக்கபோகிறார்கள்!” என்றாள். ஆனால் அவன் கயிறுகளை எளிதாக அறுத்துவிட்டான். நூலை அறுத்தாற்போன்று அவன் கயிறுகளை அறுத்தெறிந்தான்.
