அப்படியே அவள் செய்து, அவைகளை ஆணியடித்து மாட்டி: சிம்சோனே, பெலிஸ்தர் உன்மேல் வந்துவிட்டார்கள் என்றாள்; அவன் நித்திரைவிட்டெழும்பி, நெசவு ஆணியையும் நூல்பாவையும்கூடப் பிடுங்கிக்கொண்டுபோனான்.

பின் சிம்சோன் உறங்கப்போனான். தெலீலாள் நெசவுத் துணியின் நூலைப் பயன்படுத்தி அவனது தலைமயிரின் 7 ஜடைகளையும் நெய்தாள். பின் தறியை நிலத்தில் ஒரு கூடார ஆணியால் அடித்தாள். அவள் மீண்டும் சிம்சோனை அழைத்து, “சிம்சோன், பெலிஸ்திய ஆட்கள் உங்களைப் பிடிக்கப் போகிறார்கள்!” என்றாள். சிம்சோன் கூடார ஆணியையும், தறியையும், பாவையும் பிடுங்கி எடுத்துக் கொண்டு எழுந்தான்!
