மீதியானியரின் இரண்டு அதிபதிகளாகிய ஓரேபையும் சேபையும் பிடித்து, ஓரேபை ஓரேப் என்னப்பட்ட கன்மலையிலும், சேபை சேப் என்னப்பட்ட ஆலையிலும் கொன்றுபோட்டு, மீதியானியரைத் துரத்தி, ஓரேப் சேப் என்பவர்களின் தலைகளை யோர்தானுக்கு இக்கரையிலிருந்த கிதியோனிடத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

எப்பிராயீம் மனிதர்கள் மீதியானிய தலைவர்களில் இருவரைப் பிடித்தனர். அவர்களின் பெயர்கள்: ஓரேபும் சேபும் ஆகும். எப்பிராயீம் ஆட்கள் ஓரேப் பாறை என்னுமிடத்தில் ஓரேபைக் கொன்றனர். சேப் ஆலை என்னுமிடத்தில் அவர்கள் சேபைக் கொன்றனர். எப்பிராயீம் மனிதர்கள் மீதியானியரைத் தொடர்ந்து துரத்தினார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்கள் முதலில் ஓரேப், சேப் ஆகியோரின் தலைகளை வெட்டி, அத்தலைகளைக் கிதியோனிடம் கொண்டு வந்தனர். அச்சமயம் கிதியோன் யோர்தான் நதியை ஜனங்கள் கடக்கும் இடத்தில் இருந்தான்.
