யோவான் வனாந்தரத்தில் ஞானஸ்நானங்கொடுத்து, பாவமன்னிப்புக்கென்று மனந்திரும்புதலுக்கேற்ற ஞானஸ்நானத்தைக் குறித்துப் பிரசங்கம் பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.
