அவர் பெத்தானியாவில் குஷ்டரோகியாயிருந்த சீமோன் வீட்டிலே போஜனபந்தியிருக்கையில், ஒரு ஸ்திரீ விலையேறப்பெற்ற நளதம் என்னும் உத்தம தைலமுள்ள வெள்ளைக்கல்பரணியைக் கொண்டுவந்து, அதை உடைத்து, அந்தத் தைலத்தை அவர் சிரசின்மேல் ஊற்றினாள்.

அவர் பெத்தானியாவில் குஷ்டரோகியாக இருந்த சீமோன் வீட்டிலே சாப்பிட்டுக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போது, ஒரு பெண் விலையுயர்ந்த நளதம் என்னும் சுத்தமான தைலத்தை ஒரு வெள்ளைக்கல் ஜாடியில் கொண்டுவந்து, அதை உடைத்து, அந்தத் தைலத்தை அவர் தலையின்மேல் ஊற்றினாள்.

இயேசு பெத்தானியாவில் இருந்தார். அவர் தொழுநோயாளியான சீமோனின் வீட்டில் உணவு உண்டுகொண்டிருந்தார். அப்பொழுது அங்கு ஒரு பெண் வந்தாள். அப்பெண்ணிடம் அதிக விலை மதிப்புள்ள நளதம் என்னும் நறுமணத் தைலமுள்ள வெள்ளைக்கல் ஜாடி இருந்தது. அவள் அந்த ஜாடியைத் திறந்து அந்நறுமணத் தைலத்தை இயேசுவின் தலையில் ஊற்றினாள்.
