மீகா 2:11
மனம்போகிற போக்கின்படிபோய், அபத்தமானதை உரைக்கிற ஒருவன், திராட்சரசத்தையும் மதுபானத்தையுங்குறித்து நான் உனக்குப் பிரசங்கிப்பேனென்றால், அவனே ஜனத்திற்கு ஏற்ற பிரசங்கியாயிருப்பான்.

மனம்போகிற போக்கிலே போய், பொய்யானதைச் சொல்லுகிற ஒருவன், திராட்சைரசத்தையும் மதுபானத்தையும் குறித்து நான் உனக்குப் பிரசங்கிப்பேனென்றால், அவனே இந்த மக்களுக்கு ஏற்ற பிரசங்கியாக இருப்பான்.

இந்த ஜனங்கள், நான் சொல்வதைக் கேட்க விரும்புவதில்லை. ஆனால் ஒருவன் பொய்களைச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டு வந்தால், அவனை அவர்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒரு பொய் தீர்க்கதரிசியை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, அவன் வந்து, “அப்பொழுது வருங்காலம் நல்லகாலமாக தோன்றும், திராட்சைரசமும் மதுபானமும் ஏராளமாக கிடைக்கும்” என்று சொன்னதும் அவனையும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்.

If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.

If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood do lie, `saying’, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
