தங்கள் பற்களினால் கடிக்கிறவர்களாயிருந்து, சமாதானமென்றுசொல்லி, தங்கள் வாய்க்கு உணவைக்கொடாதவனுக்கு விரோதமாகச் சண்டைக்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணி, என் ஜனத்தை மோசம்போக்குகிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்;

சில பொய்த் தீர்க்கதரிகள் கர்த்தருடைய ஜனங்களிடம் பொய் சொல்கிறார்கள். கர்த்தர் அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைப் பற்றி இதனைச் சொல்கிறார். “இந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் வயிற்றுக்காக உழைக்கிறவர்கள். உணவு கொடுக்கும் ஜனங்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் வரும் என்று உறுதி கூறுவார்கள். ஆனால் உணவு கொடுக்காதவர்களிடத்தில் அவர்களுக்கு எதிராக போர் வரும் என்று உறுதி கூறுவார்கள்.
