நாகூம் 3:3
வீரர் குதிரை ஏறுகிறதும், பட்டயங்கள் துலங்குகிறதும், ஈட்டிகள் மின்னுகிறதும் வெட்டுண்டவர்களின் திரளும், பிரேதங்களின் ஏராளமும் அங்கே உண்டாயிருக்கும்; பிணங்களுக்குத் தொகையில்லை; அவர்கள் பிணங்களில் இடறிவிழுகிறார்கள்.

வீரர்கள் குதிரை ஏறுகிறதும், பட்டயங்கள் பிரகாசிக்கிறதும், ஈட்டிகள் மின்னுகிறதும், வெட்டுண்டவர்களின் குவியலும், பிரேதங்களின் மிகுதியும் அங்கே உண்டாயிருக்கும்; பிணங்களுக்கு கணக்கில்லை; அவர்கள் பிணங்களில் தடுக்கிவிழுகிறார்கள்.

குதிரைமேல் வந்த வீரர்கள் தாக்குகின்றனர். அவர்களின் வாள்கள் மின்னுகின்றன. அவர்களின் ஈட்டிகள் மின்னுகின்றன. அங்கே, ஏராளமான மரித்த ஜனங்கள், மரித்த உடல்கள் குவிந்துள்ளன. எண்ணுவதற்கு முடியாத ஏராளமான உடல்கள் உள்ளன. ஜனங்கள் மரித்த உடல்களில் தடுக்கி விழுகின்றனர்.
