சிறியோர் பெரியோர் ஸ்திரீ புருஷரெல்லாரிலும், இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைத் தேடாதவன் எவனோ அவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும் என்றும் ஒரு உடன்படிக்கை செய்து,

தேவனே, நான் உமக்குப் பண்ணின பொருத்தனைகள் என்மேல் இருக்கிறது; உமக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரங்களைச் செலுத்துவேன்.

சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளோடே உமது ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிப்பேன்;

பொல்லாதவர்களே, என்னை விட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள்; என் தேவனுடைய கற்பனைகளை நான் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்.

நீ தேவனுக்கு ஒரு பொருத்தனைபண்ணிக்கொண்டால், அதைச் செலுத்தத் தாமதியாதே; அவர் மூடரில் பிரியப்படுகிறதில்லை, நீ நேர்ந்துகொண்டதைச்செய்.

அன்றியும், பொய்யாணையிடாமல் உன் ஆணைகளைக் கர்த்தர் முன்னிலையாய்ச் செலுத்துவாயாக என்று பூர்வத்தாருக்கு உரைக்கப்பட்டதென்று கேள்விப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்.
