அப்பொழுது மூப்பர்களில் ஒருவன் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ அழவேண்டாம்; இதோ, யூதா கோத்திரத்துச் சிங்கமும் தாவீதின் வேருமானவர் புஸ்தகத்தைத் திறக்கவும் அதின் ஏழு முத்திரைகளையும் உடைக்கவும் ஜெயங்கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது மூப்பர்களில் ஒருவன் என்னைப் பார்த்து: நீ அழவேண்டாம்; இதோ, யூதா கோத்திரத்தின் சிங்கமும், தாவீதின் வேருமானவர் புத்தகத்தைத் திறக்கவும் அதின் ஏழு முத்திரைகளையும் உடைக்கவும் ஜெயங்கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்றான்.

ஆனால் முதியவர்களுள் ஒருவர் என்னிடம், “அழாதே! யூதர் குலத்தில் பிறந்த சிங்கமான இயேசு வெற்றி பெற்றார். அவர் தாவீதின் வழி வந்தவர். அவர் ஏழு முத்திரைகளையும் உடைத்து இந்தத் தோல் சுருளைத் திறந்து பார்க்கும் ஆற்றல் உள்ளவர்.”
