பெட்டியைத் தன்னிடத்தில் தாவீதின் நகரத்திலே கொண்டுவராமல், அதைக் கித்தியனாகிய ஓபேத்ஏதோமின்வீட்டிலே சேர்த்தான்.

எனவே தாவீது தனது நகரத்திற்கு உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை எடுத்துச் செல்லவில்லை. அவன் உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை ஓபேத் ஏதோமின் வீட்டில் விட்டுவிட்டுப் போனான். இவன் காத் நகரத்தைச் சேர்ந்தவன்.

தாவீதின் நகருக்கு, தம்மிடம் பேழையைக் கொண்டுவராமல், இத்தியரான ஓபேது-ஏதோம் வீட்டில் கொண்டுபோய் வைத்தார்.
