பின்பு லேவி புத்திரர் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே, மோசே கற்பித்தபிரகாரம் தேவனுடைய பெட்டியை அதின் தண்டுகளினாலே தங்கள் தோள்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்.

மோசே கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, லேவியர்கள் உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைத் தோளில் தூக்கிவர சிறப்பான தடிகளைப் பயன்படுத்தினர். கர்த்தர் சொன்னபடியே அவர்கள் அப்பெட்டியைத் தூக்கி வந்தனர்.
