1 நாளாகமம் 16:1
அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய பெட்டியை உள்ளே கொண்டுவந்தபோது, தாவீது அதற்குப் போட்ட கூடாரத்தின் நடுவே அவர்கள் அதை வைத்து, தேவனுடைய சந்நிதியில் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளையும் சமாதானபலிகளையும் செலுத்தினார்கள்.

லேவியர்கள், உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைக் கொண்டுவந்து அதற்காகத் தாவீது கட்டியிருந்த இடத்தில் வைத்தனர். பிறகு தேவனுக்கு அவர்கள் சர்வாங்க தகன பலியையும், சமாதான பலியையும் கொடுத்தனர்.

அவர்கள் கடவுளின் பேழையைக் கொண்டு வந்து, தாவீது அதற்கென்று அமைத்திருந்த கூடாரத்தின் நடுவே வைத்தனர். பின்பு, கடவுளின் முன் எரிபலிகளையும், நல்லுறவுப் பலிகளையும் செலுத்தினர்.
