சீரியர் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முன்பாக முறிந்தோடினார்கள்; தாவீது சீரியரிலே ஆயிரம் இரதங்களின் மனுஷரையும், நாற்பதினாயிரம் காலாட்களையும் கொன்று, படைத்தலைவனாகிய சோப்பாக்கையும் கொன்றான்.

சீரியர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முன்பாக தப்பி ஓடினார்கள்; தாவீது சீரியர்களில் ஏழாயிரம் இரதங்களின் மனிதர்களையும், நாற்பதாயிரம் காலாட்களையும் கொன்று, படைத்தலைவனாகிய சோப்பாக்கையும் கொன்றான்.

ஆராமியர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலரிடம் தோற்று ஓடினார்கள். தாவீதும் அவனது படைகளும் 7,000 ஆராமிய இரத மோட்டிகளையும் 40,000 ஆராமிய வீரர்களையும் கொன்றனர். தாவீதின் படை ஆராமியப் படையின் தளபதியான சோபாக்கையும் கொன்றது.
