இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் காணக் கர்த்தர் சாலொமோனை மிகவும் பெரியவனாக்கி, அவனுக்கு முன்னே இஸ்ரவேலில் ராஜாவான ஒருவனுக்கும் இல்லாதிருந்த ராஜரிக மகத்துவத்தை அவனுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

கர்த்தர் சாலொமோனை மிகப் பெரியவனாக்கினார். கர்த்தர் சாலொமோனைப் பெரியவராக்கிவிட்டார் என்பதை இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் அனைவரும் தெரிந்துக்கொண்டனர். ஒரு அரசனுக்குரிய பெருமையைக் கர்த்தர் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தார். வேறு எந்த அரசனுக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலில் இவ்வளவு ராஜரீக மகத்துவம் கிடைத்ததில்லை.
