இணை வசனம்

அவர்கள் தங்களை ஞானிகளென்று சொல்லியும் பயித்தியக்காரராகி,

அவர் ஆலோசனைக்காரரைச் சிறைபிடித்து, நியாயாதிபதிகளை மதிமயக்குகிறார்.

உன் மனம் பயங்கரத்தை நினைவுகூரும்; கணக்கன் எங்கே? தண்டல்காரன் எங்கே? கோபுரங்களை எண்ணினவன் எங்கே?

நான் கட்டுக்கதைக்காரரின் குறிகளை அபத்தமாக்கி, குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களை நிர்மூடராக்கி, ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தி, அவர்கள் அறிவைப் பைத்தியமாகப் பண்ணுகிறவர்.

அப்சலோமோடே கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணினவர்களுடன் அகித்தோப்பேலும் சேர்ந்திருக்கிறான் என்று தாவீதுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, தாவீது, கர்த்தாவே, அகித்தோப்பேலின் ஆலோசனையைப் பயித்தியமாக்கிவிடுவீராக என்றான்.

அந்நாட்களில் அகித்தோப்பேல் சொல்லும் ஆலோசனையெல்லாம் தேவனுடைய வாக்கைப்போல இருந்தது, அப்படியே அகித்தோப்பேலின் ஆலோசனையெல்லாம் தாவீதுக்கும் இருந்தது, அப்சலோமுக்கும் அப்படியே இருந்தது.

அப்பொழுது அப்சலோமும் இஸ்ரவேல் மனுஷர் அனைவரும்: அகித்தோப்பேலின் ஆலோசனையைப்பார்க்கிலும் அற்கியனாகிய ஊசாயின் ஆலோசனை நல்லது என்றார்கள்; இப்படி கர்த்தர் அப்சலோமின்மேல் பொல்லாப்பை வரப்பண்ணும்பொருட்டு, அகித்தோப்பேலின் நல்லஆலோசனையை அபத்தமாக்குகிறதற்குக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டார்.

அகித்தோப்பேல் தன் யோசனையின்படி நடக்கவில்லை என்று கண்டபோது, தன் கழுதையின்மேல் சேணம் வைத்து ஏறி, தன் ஊரிலிருக்கிற தன் வீட்டுக்குப்போய், தன் வீட்டுக்காரியங்களை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தி, நான்றுகொண்டு செத்தான்; அவன் தகப்பன் கல்லறையில் அவனை அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

அவர் நம்பிக்கையுள்ளவர்களுடைய வாக்கை விலக்கி, முதிர்வயதுள்ளவரின் ஆலோசனையை வாங்கிப்போடுகிறார்.

அவர் பூமியிலுள்ள ஜனத்தினுடைய அதிபதிகளின் நெஞ்சை அகற்றிப்போட்டு, அவர்களை வழியில்லாத அந்தரத்திலே அலையப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

எங்கள் மூலமாய்க் கேள்விப்பட்டதை விசுவாசித்தவன் யார்? கர்த்தருடைய புயம் யாருக்கு வெளிப்பட்டது?

அந்தப்படி: ஞானிகளுடைய ஞானத்தை நான் அழித்து, புத்திசாலிகளுடைய புத்தியை அவமாக்குவேனென்று எழுதியிருக்கிறது.

அப்படியிருந்தும், தேறினவர்களுக்குள்ளே ஞானத்தைப் பேசுகிறோம்; இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் ஞானத்தையல்ல, அழிந்துபோகிறவர்களாகிய இப்பிரபஞ்சத்தின் பிரபுக்களுடைய ஞானத்தையுமல்ல,

இவ்வுலகத்தின் ஞானம் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகப் பைத்தியமாயிருக்கிறது. அப்படியே, ஞானிகளை அவர்களுடைய தந்திரத்திலே பிடிக்கிறாரென்றும்,

சோவான்பட்டணத்தின் பிரபுக்களானவர்கள் மூடர்கள்; பார்வோனுடைய ஞானமுள்ள ஆலோசனைக்காரரின் ஆலோசனை மதியீனமாயிற்று: நான் ஞானிகளின் புத்திரன், நான் பூர்வ ராஜாக்களின் குமாரன் என்று பார்வோனுடனே எப்படிச் சொல்லுகிறீர்கள்?
