இணை வசனம்

சிலுவையைப்பற்றிய உபதேசம் கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களுக்குப் பைத்தியமாயிருக்கிறது, இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிற நமக்கோ அது தேவபெலனாயிருக்கிறது.

ஆ! தேவனுடைய ஐசுவரியம், ஞானம், அறிவு என்பவைகளின் ஆழம் எவ்வளவாயிருக்கிறது! அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அளவிடப்படாதவைகள், அவருடைய வழிகள் ஆராயப்படாதவைகள்!

ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பைத்தியமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; பலமுள்ளவைகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பலவீனமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.

ஏனெனில் அவர் பலவீனத்தால் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டிருந்தும், தேவனுடைய வல்லமையினால் பிழைத்திருக்கிறார்; அப்படி நாங்களும் அவருக்குள் பலவீனராயிருந்தும், உங்களிடமாய் விளங்கிய தேவனுடைய வல்லமையினால் அவருடனேகூடப் பிழைத்திருப்போம்.

பார்வோன் ஜனங்களைப் போக விட்டபின்: ஜனங்கள் யுத்தத்தைக் கண்டால் மனமடிந்து, எகிப்துக்குத் திரும்புவார்கள் என்று சொல்லி; பெலிஸ்தரின் தேசவழியாய்ப் போவது சமீபமானாலும், தேவன் அவர்களை அந்த வழியாய் நடத்தாமல்,

நீங்கள் திரும்பி மிக்தோலுக்கும் சமுத்திரத்துக்கும் நடுவே பாகால்செபோனுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற ஈரோத் பள்ளத்தாக்கின் முன்னடியிலே பாளயமிறங்கவேண்டும் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல்லு; அதற்கு எதிராகச் சமுத்திரக்கரையிலே பாளயமிறங்குவீர்களாக.

கர்த்தர் யோசுவாவை நோக்கி: இதோ, எரிகோவையும் அதின் ராஜாவையும் யுத்தவீரரையும் உன் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் கிதியோனை நோக்கி: நான் மீதியானியரை உன்னோடிருக்கிற ஜனத்தின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறதற்கு அவர்கள் மிகுதியாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; என் கை என்னை ரட்சித்தது என்று இஸ்ரவேல் எனக்கு விரோதமாக வீம்பு பேசுகிறதற்கு இடமாகும்.

உடனே அவன் ஒரு கழுதையின் பச்சைத் தாடையெலும்பைக் கண்டு, தன் கையை நீட்டி அதை எடுத்து, அதினாலே ஆயிரம் பேரைக் கொன்றுபோட்டான்.

தன் தடியைக் கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, ஆற்றிலிருக்கிற ஜந்து கூழாங்கல்லுகளைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்து, அவைகளை மேய்ப்பருக்குரிய தன்னுடைய அடைப்பப்பையிலே போட்டு, தன் கவணைத் தன் கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, அந்தப் பெலிஸ்தனண்டையிலே போனான்.

யாரைக்கொண்டு என்று ஆகாப் கேட்டான்; அதற்கு அவன்: மாகாணங்களுடைய அதிபதிகளின் சேவகரைக் கொண்டு என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்; பின்பு அவன், யுத்தத்தை யார் துவக்கவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டதற்கு; அவன், நீர்தான் என்றான்.

அப்பொழுது அவர்: செருபாபேலுக்குச் சொல்லப்படுகிற கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை என்னவென்றால், பலத்தினாலும் அல்ல, பராக்கிரமத்தினாலும் அல்ல, என்னுடைய ஆவியினாலேயே ஆகும் என்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

தாவீது வம்சத்தாரின் மகிமையும் எருசலேமின் குடிகளுடைய மகிமையும், யூதாவின்மேல் தன்னை உயர்த்தாதபடிக்கு, கர்த்தர் தாவீதின் கூடாரங்களை முதல்முதல் இரட்சிப்பார்.
