சகோதரரே, ஸ்தேவானுடைய வீட்டார் அகாயாநாட்டிலே முதற்பலனானவர்களென்றும், பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்யும்படிக்குத் தங்களை ஒப்புவித்திருக்கிறார்களென்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே.

அன்பர்களே, இன்னுமொரு வேண்டுகோள்; ஸ்தேவனா வீட்டாரை நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள். அவர்கள் அக்காயா நாட்டில் முதன் முதல் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள். இறை மக்களுக்குத் தொண்டு செய்யத் தங்களையே அர்ப்பணித்தவர்கள்.
