உலகத்தோற்றத்திற்கு முன்னே தேவன் நம்முடைய மகிமைக்காக ஏற்படுத்தினதும், மறைக்கப்பட்டதுமாயிருந்த இரகசியமான தேவஞானத்தையே பேசுகிறோம்.

ஆனால் நாம் தேவனுடைய இரகசியமான ஞானத்தைப் பேசுகிறோம். மக்களிடமிருந்து இந்த ஞானம் மறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நமது மகிமைக்காக தேவன் இந்த ஞானத்தைத் திட்டமிட்டார். உலகம் தோன்றுவதற்கு முன்பே தேவன் இதைத் திட்டமிட்டார்.

வெளிப்படுத்தப்படாமல் மறைபொருளாய் இருக்கும் இறை ஞானத்தைப்பற்றியே நாங்கள் பேசுகிறோம். அது நாம் மேன்மை பெற வேண்டும் என்னும் நோக்குடன் உலகம் தோன்றும் முன்பே கடவுளின் திட்டத்தில் இருந்தது.
