ஆதலால் பழைய புளித்தமாவோடே அல்ல, துர்க்குணம் பொல்லாப்பு என்னும் புளித்தமாவோடும் அல்ல, துப்புரவு உண்மை என்னும் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பத்தோடே பண்டிகையை ஆசரிக்கக்கடவோம்.

எனவே நமது பஸ்கா விருந்தை உண்போமாக. ஆனால் புளித்த பழைய மாவைக்கொண்ட அப்பத்தை உண்ணக் கூடாது. புளித்த மாவு பாவத்தையும் தவறுகளையும் குறிக்கும். ஆனால் நாம் புளிக்காத மாவுடைய அப்பத்தை உண்போம். அது நன்மை, உண்மை ஆகியவற்றைக் குறிக்கும் அப்பமாகும்.

ஆகையால், பழைய புளிப்பு மாவைத் தவிர்க்க வேண்டும். தீமை, பரத்தைமை போன்ற புளிப்பு மாவோடு அல்ல, மாறாக நேர்மை, உண்மை போன்ற புளிப்பற்ற அப்பத்தோடு பாஸ்காவைக் கொண்டாடுவோமாக.⒫
