நீ விவாகம்பண்ணினாலும் பாவமல்ல, கன்னிகை விவாகம்பண்ணினாலும் பாவமல்ல. ஆகிலும் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் சரீரத்திலே உபத்திரவப்படுவார்கள்; அதற்கு நீங்கள் தப்பவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறேன்.

நீ திருமணம் செய்தாலும் பாவமல்ல; கன்னிகை திருமணம் செய்தாலும் பாவமல்ல. ஆனாலும் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் சரீரத்திலே துன்பப்படுவார்கள்; அதற்கு நீங்கள் தப்பவேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறேன்.

ஆனால் நீங்கள் திருமணம் செய்ய முடிவுசெய்தால், அது பாவமல்ல திருமணமாகாத ஒரு பெண் திருமணம் செய்துகொள்வதும் பாவமல்ல. ஆனால் திருமணம் செய்துகொள்பவர்களுக்கோ இந்த வாழ்க்கையில் ஏராளமான தொல்லைகள். நீங்கள் அத்தொல்லைகளிலிருந்து விடுபட்டவர்களாய் இருக்க வேண்டுமென விரும்புகிறேன்.

திருவிவிலியம்
நீங்கள் திருமணம் செய்துகொண்டால் அது பாவமல்ல. இளம் பெண்கள் திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டால் அதுவும் பாவமல்ல. ஆனால், திருமணம் செய்து கொள்வோர் இவ்வுலக வாழ்வில் இன்னலுறுவர். நீங்கள் அவ்வின்னல்களுக்கு உள்ளாகாதிருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே என் நோக்கம்.⒫

But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

But shouldest thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Yet such shall have tribulation in the flesh: and I would spare you.
