ஆகிலும் ஒருவன் தன் புத்திரியின் கன்னிகைப்பருவம் கடந்துபோனதினாலே, அவள் விவாகம் பண்ணாமலிருப்பது அவளுக்குத் தகுதியல்லவென்றும், அவள் விவாகம்பண்ணுவது அவசியமென்றும் நினைத்தால், அவன் தன் மனதின்படி செய்யக்கடவன்; அது பாவமல்ல, விவாகம்பண்ணட்டும்.

ஒருவனின் மகள் திருமணமாகும் வயதைக் கடந்துவிட்டபட்சத்தில், அப்பெண்ணின் தந்தை அவளுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியதைச் செய்யவில்லை என நினைக்கலாம். திருமணம் என்பது முக்கியமானது என அவன் நினைக்கலாம். தனக்கு விருப்பமானதைச் செய்யவேண்டும். திருமணம் செய்துகொள்ள அவளை அனுமதிக்க வேண்டும். அது பாவமல்ல.
