நாம் சகோதரரிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறபடியால், மரணத்தைவிட்டு நீங்கி ஜீவனுக்குட்பட்டிருக்கிறோமென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம். சகோதரனிடத்தில் அன்புகூராதவன் மரணத்தில் நிலைகொண்டிருக்கிறான்.

நாம் சகோதரர்களிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துகிறபடியால், மரணத்தைவிட்டு விலகி ஜீவனுக்கு உட்பட்டிருக்கிறோம் என்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்; சகோதரனிடத்தில் அன்புகூராதவன் மரணத்திலே நிலைபெற்றிருக்கிறான்.

நாம் மரணத்தை விட்டு, ஜீவனுக்குள் வந்திருக்கிறோம் என்பதை நாம் அறிவோம். கிறிஸ்துவில் நமது சகோதரரையும் சகோதரிகளையும் நாம் நேசிப்பதால் இதனை அறிவோம். சகோதரனை நேசிக்காத மனிதன் இன்னும் மரணத்தில் இருக்கிறான்.
