நாம் மனுஷருடைய சாட்சியை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டால், அதைப்பார்க்கிலும் தேவனுடைய சாட்சி அதிகமாயிருக்கிறது; தேவன் தமது குமாரனைக் குறித்துக் கொடுத்த சாட்சி இதுவே.

நாம் மனிதனுடைய சாட்சியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறோம். அதைவிட தேவனுடைய சாட்சி மேன்மையாக இருக்கிறது; தேவன் தமது குமாரனைக்குறித்துக் கொடுத்த சாட்சி இதுவே.

சிலவற்றை உண்மையானவையாக மக்கள் கூறும்போது அவற்றை நம்புகிறோம். ஆனால் தேவன் சொல்வது அதைக் காட்டிலும் முக்கியமானது. இதுவே தேவன் நமக்குக் கூறியதாகும். அவரது சொந்த குமாரனைக் குறித்து உண்மையை அவர் நமக்குக் கூறினார்.
